About Margi
Margi Haas has been a counselor, trainer, business consultant and psychotherapist in practice since 1985 in New York City and Tokyo, Japan. She has spent 30 years in international business dealing with the Far East first on Wall Street and then founding and managing her own executive coaching and search firm. She is extensively trained and experienced in a number of healing modalities including a form of Reiki known as MariEl, a unique holographic form of past lives work known as Reincarnation Therapy, Tibetan Buddhism, Core Energetics, Gestalt Therapy, and Ontological Coaching & Design work with the noted Chilean business philosopher cum entrepreneur Fernando Flores. Margi also trains clients interested in peak performance and improving brain and physiological functioning using a cutting-edge form of neurofeedback known as Zengar. She completed a four-year a clinical fellowship with the Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy in New York City, and is a licensed psychotherapist. She teaches graduate -level courses in coaching and business at New York University. She is a "Green Guerilla" graduate of the Nature Lyceum School for organic horticulture.
Margi co-created, produced, and hosted Traveling Light, a popular weekly call-in radio program on WALE, 990 AM, out of Providence, Rhode Island which explored such subjects as Buddhism, past lives, consciousness, philosophy, and paranormal and psychic phenomena.
Margi received her BA with Honors from Stanford University and her MA from Harvard University. She is fluent in the Japanese language, and has translated several children's books into English.
